Fascinating details about CSF – Cerebro-Spinal Fluid: how it’s formed, what it does, and more. His research goes beyond some of what we’ve known in the past and delves into some esoteric philosophies about CSF, as well. I was especially interested in his description of how CSF instructs the developing brain in an embryo as to how much it should expand and when it should direct generic stem cells to go off and form more specialized structures and functions. Also fascinating is how the researchers found that CSF can “transmit” molecules, light, vibration, growth factors, ions, and hormones.
