John Joseph Ray is a Licensed Master Massage Therapist, having done over 20,000 bodywork and cranial-sacral sessions. His practice has focused on Therapeutic Massage, including Cranial-Sacral Therapy and Direct-Indirect Technique. DIT is a combination of techniques designed by John and the best of MyoFascial Release, NeuroMuscular Therapy, CST, Deep Tissue, Sports massage, and other modalities.

These Direct and Indirect techniques work extremely well together and will add excellent tools to the bodywork toolbox of any practitioner wanting to be successful as a Massage Therapist. Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists have also learned and used these techniques with great success. Clients absolutely love them!

John has successfully taught DIT, CST, Anatomy and Physiology, Muscle Balancing, Assessment, and other classes to well over a thousand licensed massage therapists and massage students in several states.

John is a member of the Fascia Research Society. He is Board Certified through the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork. In addition, John is a Board Approved Continuing Education Provider through the NCBTMB. He is also a professional member of the AMTA and a member of ABMP.

John has an MBA in Business Computer Systems. In his earlier professional work in the computer industry, John learned first-hand the effects of detrimental work habits on the back, neck, and head, and he has focused on specializing in these areas in his practice and instruction. He is dedicated to helping other therapists successfully treat a wide variety of client conditions.
