If you need another reason to eat a good diet, here it is. What you eat can actually affect the size of your brain and brain tissue. “We found that better diet quality related to larger brain volume, gray matter volume, white matter volume, and hippocampal volume…High intake of vegetables, fruit, whole grains, nuts, dairy, and fish and low intake of sugar-containing beverages were associated with larger brain volumes.”
So, if you don’t mind people telling you you’ve got a big head, keep eating your veggies!
