Feedback from Recent Training on DIT Shoulder, Arm, Neck, Head, and TMJ techniques
We had a wonderful Direct-Indirect Technique CE training this weekend in Fayetteville. I had the privilege of spending 18 hours with these extraordinary dedicated massage therapists.
We focused on techniques to help with shoulder, arm, neck, and TMJ problems. And everyone discovered that they had tighter muscles and fascial restrictions in several of these areas than they thought they had. 🙂
There were lots of releases among the therapists and lots of tools to bring home to their clients. I have to say that the clients of these therapists are very fortunate to have them working on the issues in their tissues.
Here are the class evaluation comments from the participants:
– He was very thorough and explains things in detail. The instructor has an amazing personality and is easy to communicate with. He made sure everyone understood and was on the same page. – Chase
– He went over the anatomy of each area being treated and how to palpate the muscles. After going over the benefits of the techniques, palpation, and treatment plan, he would demonstrate. We would then practice on our partner and he would show each person individually the technique. First time taking one of his classes. I love it and plan on taking many more. – Karen
– John is clear and concise and takes time with each therapist to ensure they are doing the technique properly. The class is well organized and sources are cited for doing your own research and follow-up. Wonderful as always! Arkansas is lucky to have you! – Leigh Ann
– Extremely educational. Review of A&P. Good humor. Easy and relaxed. very knowledgeable about subject matter. Always enjoy ROL and leave feeling confident in the work that was taught. – Elaine

– I liked learning the in-depth workings of fascia and how some people tend to skip over stuff. I liked how interactive it was. – April
– Everything was very detailed, but still easy to grasp. – Melissa
– The instructor was very thorough. I felt like I was learning a technique but not just the mechanics of it – how to assess the client re known and possibly unknown issues. How to find the cause and not just treat the symptoms. Great addition to the way I already practice. – Amy
– It’s great to know how these Direct-Indirect techniques can improve the clients’ situation beyond using the more general techniques that we first learn. The information and what we take with us will undoubtedly help enhance what can be done for the clients. – James
– The class is nice that there is a good flow between instruction and then right into practicing. Always good review of anatomy. And hands-on – guided steps. – anonymous
– Instructor is very skilled, articulate, and patient with students. Classes are always affordable, convenient location. – anonymous
