Winding Down After DIT for Shoulder, Arm, Neck, Head, and TMJ class

I’m just winding down after packing everything up and going home after the DIT for Shoulder, Arm, Neck, Head, and TMJ class in Fayetteville this weekend. What a great group! I have to pinch myself sometimes. I feel fortunate to spend so much quality time with therapists that are on the ‘front lines’, helping clients have a better quality of life day in and day out.

I love hearing comments like some of the ones after this class – ‘My neck never felt this relaxed before’, ‘My jaw feels so light, like it has wings’, and ‘I felt a lot less restriction in my shoulder’. It’s so fulfilling for me, too, when therapists say they know several of their clients that will benefit from these techniques.

Amazingly, only one person left some ‘stuff’ in the classroom. And they figured it out before I left, and she was able to come back and get it. Is that good or good?! I’ve accumulated way more ‘stuff’ than I want after classes. 🙂

What a fun group! I learned a few things – like what ‘ptery’ means (when we were discussing the pterygoid muscles in the jaw) – wings spread, as I remember it, or something like that. And I had several LOLs. Sometimes, I just cracked up.
