Plantar Fasciitis Has Very Little To Do With Your Foot

I’ve been teaching similarly for a long time. I like his focus on the ‘big muscles’ above affecting the foot. And the effect of a weak anterior tibialis. But he misses the importance of the posterior tibialis re plantar fascitis (or fasciosis, as some folks now call it). Several other muscles in the lower leg can be involved. Treatment using a variety of MFR techniques that we use in Direct-Indirect Technique usually does the trick, along with some client stretching.
